In his first season with the Blues, Daniel Lumsden brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team. A Vanier Cup finalist with St. Francis Xavier University in 1996, Lumsden is the head coach of the Toronto Junior Argos football summer program. Under his guidance, the three-time Ontario Metro Football League championships, the Junior Argos posted back-to-back perfect seasons in 2006 and 2007. Lumsden is a mathematics teacher at St. Michael’s College, where he is an active coach in football, basketball and track and field. Lumsden serves as the running backs coach with St. Mike’s and has won four Metro Bowls and five Conference of Independent Schools of Ontario Athletic Association (CISAA) championships with the St. Michael’s Blues.
