Following his retirement from the CFL, Clinton Wayne takes on the role as defensive line coach for the Varsity Blues. The Toronto native, who won a Grey Cup with Calgary in 2001, finished his eight-year career with the Edmonton Eskimos in 2008. 

Clinton, a six-foot-two, 280lbs defensive tackle, was selected 21st overall by the Calgary Stampeders in the 2000 CFL draft. A product of Ohio State University, he also played with Ottawa, Edmonton, Montreal and was a captain of the 2006 Hamilton Tiger-Cats. 

During his career, Clinton played in 111 games, accumulated 132 tackles, 13 sacks, five fumble returns and two forced fumbles.
