2026 Men's Cross Country Roster
Biography
The University of Toronto Varsity Blues are excited to share the commitment of Ryan Vacante to the men's track & field and cross country programs for the 2026-27 season.
A 5-foot-11 middle distance and distance specialist from London, Vacante joins the Blues via Sir Frederick Banting Secondary School and Lond Legion Track & Field Alliance.
An OFSAA silver medalist, Vacante was a standout athlete on his high school teams. This earned him team MVP honours, along with Grade 11 and Grade 12 Outstanding Athlete of the Year. Additionally with his club, Vacante garnered Top 10 finished in both the 400m and 800m events at the Athletics Ontario Indoor Championships this year. He also took seventh in the 800m at the Athletics Ontario Outdoor Championships.
An honour roll student across all four years in high school, Vacante will study Social Sciences at U of T beginning this fall.

Students who sign a letter of intent and/or commit to Varsity Blues intercollegiate teams will be eligible to play at the University of Toronto provided they are academically admissible and have applied through the normal process with the Ontario Universities Application Centre.
