Tryout Dates & Times:
- Thursday, [Oct 1st ], 7:00 – 9:00 PM
- Friday, [Oct 2nd], 5:00 - 7:00 PM
How to Register:
To attend tryouts, you must complete the
VBRS and
PAR-Q registrations available at
https://varsityblues.ca/sports/2024/6/25/2026-27-open-tryouts.aspx
- Registration in advance through the Varsity Blues Registration System(VBRS)
- Upon completion of the VBRS registration, each participant will then be required to complete the PAR-Q (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire)
- You must have Green or Yellow status to be eligible.
- Red status requires a physician's appointment before tryouts.

Team Selection Criteria
The Varsity team will consist of
12 players. Selection will be based on:
- Round-robin match results during tryouts (used for ranking)
- National, Provincial, and Universal Squash Rankings
- Skill level, potential for improvement, and team fit
- Final team roster will be announced on Monday, October 5th
Team Commitments (for Selected Players)
Selected players are expected to commit to the following while balancing academics:
- Weekday evening practices at the Athletic Centre
- League matches (home and away) and OUA Finals
Travel dates and rosters will be shared in advance for planning.
