The athletics and recreation programs at U of T are bolstered by Varsity Centre, a 5000-seat stadium with state-of-the-art artificial turf field, eight-lane track and bubble for winter use.
The men's soccer team has won 49 provincial titles since 1904, last capturing the title in 2010. The Blues made three consecutive appearances at the CIS national tournament from 2009-11.
Varsity Blues men's soccer have produced 43 CIS all-Canadians since 1979.
From 2007-11, Anthony Capotosto led the men's soccer team to two first and three second-place finishes in the OUA East division. He is also the head coach of the Toronto F.C. junior academy team.
Darragh McGee was twice named the OUA East Most Valuable Player in 2010 and 2011. Fellow current Varsity Blue, Ezequiel Lubocki, earned OUA East Rookie of the Year honours in 2010.
