It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I introduce you to our men's soccer program at the University of Toronto. Over the years, our program has achieved great success on the playing field and has been ranked among the most competitive programs in Canada. Our mandate is to be recognized as the preeminent men's soccer programs in the country and have a legitimate chance at winning a championship every season.
Our coaching staff is made up of highly qualified and certified individuals in the areas of technical/tactical preparation, strength and conditioning and mental training, who bring with them a wealth of knowledge and experience about the game. We push our players in training and in competition to achieve their maximum potential and to take their game to a higher level.
Our training methods and standards are similar to that of a professional team and we are interested in players who are serious about working within that environment. Over the years our program has fielded provincial and national team players, as well as members of Toronto F.C.'s reserve team.
In addition to our strong performance history, our program is also committed to providing a unique experience as a Varsity athlete. You will learn important values and skills that you will take with you into the real world once you have graduated. The friendships you will form as part of our program will last a life time and you will find that our team is like having a second family.
