The University of Toronto men's hockey team closed out their exhibition schedule on a high note, taking down the Windsor Lancers by a score of 4-2 on Friday (Sept. 27) night in Windsor.
After battling hard in two games against the defending champion UNB Reds last weekend, the Blues bounced back in a big way against the Lancers. They finish the preseason with a 3-2-0 record, with all three wins coming against OUA teams.
Emmett Serensits and Eddie Yan led the way for Toronto with a goal and an assist each. Owen Robinson and Nicholas Wong also found the back of the net, with Sean Clarke and Cooper Way picking up assists.
The Blues open their regular season on the road next weekend as they head to Thunder Bay for two games against the Lakehead Thunderwolves. Their season opener takes place on Friday, October 4, with puck drop scheduled for 7 p.m. The game can be streamed live on oua.tv.
