The Varsity Blues men's hockey team fell 1-0 to the TMU Bold in Game 2 of the OUA playoff on Saturday (Feb. 18) evening at Varsity Arena.
WHAT HAPPENED:Â It was a busy first period for both goaltenders with the Bold and Blues trading chances through the first 20 minutes. TMU would strike first halfway through the period with a goal from forward Kevin Gursoy.Â
The Blues continued to put on the pressure in the second period, but were held off the scoresheet after forty minutes. The Bold held the lead heading into the third period but U of T was unable to get past TMU rookie goalie Kai Edmonds.
Blues starting goalie Jett Alexander finished the game with 29 saves.
