First-year forward Jada Poon Tip was recognized as a 2021-22 all-rookie team member as Ontario University Athletics (OUA) announced their women's basketball all-stars and award winners on Tuesday (Mar. 23).
Poon Tip ranked second on the Blues with 5.0 rebounds per game and was third on the team with 9.0 points per game and 24.7 minutes per game. The criminology major started all 15 games for Toronto, leading the team in defensive rebounds with 64.
The Toronto, Ont., product had nine games with double-digit points this past season including a career-high 13 point effort against the Rams on February 19.
