The University of Toronto Varsity Blues field hockey team notched three shut out victories over the Calgary Dinos in pre-season play, August 26-28, at Back Campus Fields.
 
Toronto defeated the Dinos 5-0 on Monday night, as Emily Ziraldo and Anna Costanzo each scored twice, while Rebecca Carvalho added a single goal in the win.
 
The Blues followed that up with a 3-0 win on Tuesday. Costanzo, Hilary Ziraldo and Maddie Sherwood were the goal scorers on the night.
 
U of T wrapped up the series with a 4-0 win on Wednesday night as Costanzo, Hilary Ziraldo, Sherwood and Jaden Kozelj all found the back of the net.
 
The Blues wrap up the preseason this weekend as they head to Ithaca, N.Y., for two games versus the Cornell Big Red.
