BLUES SUFFER TWO TOUGH LOSSES ON THE ROAD

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's hockey team wrapped up the fall semester with two losses to the Ottawa Gee-Gees and McGill Redmen this past weekend (Dec. 2-3) on the road.
 
Fourth-year defenceman Corey Jackson scored Toronto's lone goal, assisted by team captain Charlie Connell, in a 7-1 loss at Ottawa on Friday night. Andrew Hunt and Evan Johnson split duties in net, posting 14 and 15 saves, respectively, in the loss.
 
Second-year forward Matt Campagna tallied the Blues lone marker in a 6-1 loss to the No. 6 nationally ranked Redmen. The goal was assisted by Evan MacEachern and Casey Knight. Evan Johnson got the start between the pipes, making 38 saves in the loss.
 
The Varsity Blues resume regular season action on Friday, January 6 as they travel to Montreal to take on the Concordia Stingers.
