The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's hockey team plays host to the Waterloo Warriors in their 2016-17 home opener this Thursday, October 13 at Varsity Arena.

The Blues opened their regular season campaign last Friday night in Windsor, dropping a narrow 3-2 decision to the Lancers.
 
Fourth-year forward Dean Klomp led the Blues with one goal and one assist, while veteran goalie Andrew Hunt posted 28 saves on the night.
 
U of T went 1-1 with Waterloo last season. Toronto dropped a 4-1 decision in Waterloo on Oct. 16 before defeating the Warriors 5-4 at home on Nov. 6.
 
Following Thursday night's tilt, the Blues will travel north to take on the York Lions on Friday, October 14 at Canlan Ice Sports. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
