The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's hockey team hosts the UOIT Ridgebacks and Queen's Gaels this Friday and Saturday night (Nov. 14-15) at Varsity Arena.

The Blues are 4-6-0 and in sixth place, but sit a mere five points out of second in the OUA West division. U of T is coming off a narrow 6-5 loss to the No. 3 Windsor Lancers last Saturday night.
Fourth-year forwards Tyler Liukkonen and Jeff Brown lead the squad with 10 and 11 points, respectively, while fifth-year assistant captain Michael Markovic has scored a team-high six goals so far this season.
Third-year defenceman Dylan Heide is currently riding a three-game point streak, having scored one goal and added three assists since Toronto's Halloween game at Western.
Second-year netminder Michael Nishi has stepped in and filled the void of an injured Brett Willows and Garrett Sheehan. Nishi has started the past six games for the Blues, holding a .903 save percentage.
The UOIT Ridgebacks are 5-5-1 and in sixth place in the OUA East. They will be looking to bounce back after an 8-0 loss to the Carleton Ravens last weekend and will battle the Ryerson Rams on Thursday night.
Veteran forwards Kevin George and Jesse Stoughton lead the Ridgebacks with nine points in 11 games. Colin Dzijacky has started the last five games for UOIT and holds a .878 save percentage.
The Queen's Gaels (5-4-0) sit one point behind the Ridgebacks in seventh in the East. They are coming off a lopsided 14-4 victory over the RMC Paladins.
Defenceman Spencer Abraham leads the Gaels with three goals and nine assists for 12 points, with Eric Ming tallying a team-high five goals so far this year.
Kevin Bailie has started 7-of-9 games and holds a .933 save percentage.
