BLUES BACK AT VARSITY ARENA THIS WEEKEND

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's hockey team hosts the Carleton Ravens and RMC Paladins this Friday and Saturday night (Nov. 15-16) at Varsity Arena.

The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. on both nights. Advanced tickets are one sale here.

Toronto is 6-4-0 and tied with the York Lions for third place in the OUA West division.

The Blues are coming off a 1-1 weekend, where they narrowly fell 3-1 to the Queen's Gaels, before topping the UOIT Ridgebacks 5-1 last Saturday night.

Fourth-year forward and assistant captain Michael Markovic (Toronto) leads the team and ranks fourth in the OUA with nine goals and six assists for 15 points.

Andrew Doyle is off to a great start in his second year with the Blues, averaging over a point a game with four goals and seven assists so far this season. Both Jeff Brown and Tyler von Engelbrechten also have 10 points in 10 games.

Goaltending duo Garrett Sheehan and Brett Willows have split duties between the pipes, holding .911 and .930 save percentages, respectively.

Carleton is 6-3-0 and in third place in the East division. They are led by Jeff Hayes and rookie Michael McNamee, who each game 11 points in nine games.

RMC is winless so far this season and sits in 10th place in the East with a 0-10-0 record. Rookie Jake Bullen leads the Paladins with two goals and five assists so far in 2013-14.
