With only 10 games remaining in the regular season, the Varsity Blues women’s hockey team is set to host two crucial games versus the UOIT Ridgebacks and Queen’s Gaels this weekend at Varsity Arena.
The Varsity Blues are 2-0 against the Ridgebacks this season with 7-3 (Oct. 10) and 6-3 (Nov. 15) victories, while Queen’s holds the upper hand versus Toronto, having taken both games by a score of 6-5. The first was in regulation on Oct. 11 but overtime was needed on Nov. 14.
U of T faces off against the Ridgebacks on Saturday, Jan. 16 and the Gaels on Sunday, Jan. 17 with the puck scheduled to drop at 4 p.m. on both days.

Kelsey Thompson (Martintown, Ont.) and Becky Conroy (Pembroke, Ont.) sit atop the OUA leader board with 23 and 26 points, respectively.
