Third-year pitcher Kelli Shoebridge was unstoppable on the mound and at the plate as the Varsity Blues fastpitch team went 4-0 with wins over the defending national champion Laurier Golden Hawks and the Waterloo Warriors this weekend.

Offensively, the third-year Faculty of Law student was 11-15 with an astounding .733 batting average.

The Gilford, Ont., native also pitched 3-of-4 games, first earning a 4-1 win over Laurier in five innings of work. She went on to start both games versus the Warriors, squeezing out a 3-2 victory before holding the Waterloo batters to just the one earned run through four innings on the mound in her final game of the weekend.
