A second-year defenceman from Angus, Ont., Emma Potter scored three goals and added one assist as the Varsity Blues women's hockey team finished fifth overall at the 2023 U SPORTS championship in Montreal this past weekend.

The kinesiology major had a breakout tournament, scoring in all three games, while adding an assist in Toronto's 4-0 consolation final victory over STFX. Potter recorded two goals and 10 assists through 26 regular season games this year.
