First-year swimmer Nina Mollin won three races as the No. 2 nationally-ranked Varsity Blues women's swimming team defeated the No. 3 Calgary Dinos in dual meet action on Saturday afternoon at Varsity Pool.

A biochemistry major, Mollin won the 200 butterfly (2:14.57), 200 breaststroke (2:30.77) and 200 individual medley (2:13.83) in leading the Blues to an 89-58 victory over the Dinos.

The Schaumburg, Illinois native also won three events at the Toronto Grand Prix this weekend at Varsity Pool. Mollin was first in both the 100 butterfly (1:01.64) and 200 butterfly (2:15.85), as well as the 400 individual medley (4:53.40).
