Gabrielle De Serres, a third-year defencemen from Ville Mont-Royal, Que., put up a four-point weekend as the No. 4 Varsity Blues women’s hockey team notched two big wins this past week.
 
The commerce major scored one goal and added one assist as the Blues topped the Ryerson Rams 6-4 in a thrilling school-day game on Wednesday afternoon at Varsity Arena.
 
De Serres didn’t stop there, scoring a career-high two goals as Toronto shutout the Laurier Golden Hawks 4-0 on Saturday afternoon in Waterloo.
 
She currently ranks third among OUA defencemen with 14 points in 20 games.
