A third-year health and disease major, Jenna Woock totaled 31.5 points and a .476 hitting percentage in helping the No. 4 nationally-ranked Varsity Blues women’s volleyball team to two big wins this past weekend.
The Richmond Hill, Ont., native notched 16 points with an impressive attacking percentage of .524 as the Blues upset the No. 2 Ryerson Rams, 3-2, on Friday night. Woock totaled 11 kills, four blocks and one ace, while also adding six digs, in the OUA Marquee Matchup victory.
She didn’t stop there. Woock posted 15.5 points and a .333 hitting percentage as the Blues won their eighth straight match, 3-1, at Guelph on Sunday night. Woock recorded nine kills and 6.5 blocks in the win.
Her .476 hitting percentage this past weekend helped the Blues head into the December exam break tied for the top spot in the OUA East division with an 8-1 record. Woock leads all OUA players with a .441 hitting percentage.
