Fourth-year veteran Khadi Dako scored three tries in leading the Varsity Blues women’s rugby team to a dominant 45-7 victory over the Waterloo Warriors on Sunday afternoon.

A native of Markham, Ont., Dako scored what would stand as the game-winning try in the 28th minute and Toronto held a 14-7 lead at halftime.

The health science and mental health studies major then stole the show with two sensational runs to score her second and third tries of the game, putting the match well out of Waterloo's reach.
