Bethany So was named the OUA female most valuable player in leading the Varsity Blues badminton team to their fourth consecutive provincial banner this past weekend at UOIT.

The fourth-year medical student went a perfect 5-0 in women’s singles action, while also pairing with Jonathan Lai to go 3-0 in mixed doubles action.

A Toronto native, So did not drop one game over the three-day tournament. The now six-time OUA all-star outscored her opponents 210-87 in singles play, while also notching a 126-58 advantage in mixed doubles action.
