Rebecca Smith won two races and broke three records in leading the Varsity Blues women's swimming team to two victories over the Laurier Golden Hawks and Queen's Gaels on Saturday evening at Varsity Pool.
 
Smith, a first-year life science major from Red Deer, Alta., won the women's 100 freestyle in a meet and Blues rookie record time of 54.92 seconds.
 
The 2017 FINA world bronze medalist and 2018 Commonwealth Games silver medalist also won the 200 freestyle, bettering the previous meet record by six seconds in 2:00.13.
