Second-year rower William Sati reached the podium three times as the Varsity Blues rowing team opened their 2018 season at the Guelph Invitational on Saturday, September 15.

The computer engineering major from Mississauga, Ont., won the lightweight men's single, before teaming up with Andrei Vovk to finish second in the lightweight men's double.

Sati rounded out his podium finishes by helping Toronto's men's eight (Sati, Chen, McNeil, Terek Been, Chris Hill, Alex King, Rui Xu, Edteban Poveda Torres and cox Nir Vaswani) to a bronze-medal finish in a tight race with Brock for third place.
