Eli Wall claimed two gold and two silver medals as he led the Varsity Blues men’s swimming team to a bronze-medal finish at the 2018 U SPORTS championships this past weekend at U of T.
 
The fifth-year genome biology major from Ottawa opened the championships by winning his third career 100 breaststroke title in a time of 59.60 seconds on Thursday night. He followed that up with a dominant win in the 200 breaststroke on Friday, touching the wall in 2:08.77, to also earn his third career national gold medal in that event.
 
On Day 3, Wall swam his way to a silver medal in the 50 breaststroke, before helping Toronto to a silver-medal finish in the 4x100 medley relay.
