Reilly Reid, a fifth-year guard from Mississauga, Ont., tallied 39 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and five steals in leading the Varsity Blues men’s basketball team to two victories at home this past weekend.

Reid recorded 15 points, while adding seven boards, three assists and two steals in Toronto’s upset 80-77 victory over the No. 8 Laurentian Voyageurs on Friday night.

The urban studies and human geography major followed that up with a game-high 24 points and added five rebounds, three assists and three steals in a 92-80 win over Nipissing on Saturday.

The Blues now travel to Sudbury to take on the Voyageurs in the first round of the OUA playoffs.
