Atkinson, the fifth-year guard from Scarborough, Ont., tallied 21 points, and swiped a career-high five steals in the only game the team played over the weekend. She helped spark a massive fourth-quarter comeback to take down rival Ryerson Rams on the road.

Down by as many as 13 points in the fourth quarter, the geography major assisted in a 25-7 run to retake the lead with just eight seconds left. Atkinson scored the team’s final nine points to cap off the comeback.

The victory was pivotal because Toronto is now two games up on the Laurentian Voyageurs for the final playoff spot in the OUA East division heading down the stretch of the regular season.
