Reilly Reid, a fifth-year guard from Mississauga, Ont., had a career-high weekend, notching 48 points, 19 rebounds, six assists and three steals as the Varsity Blues swept the Laurier Golden Hawks and Waterloo Warriors at Goldring Centre.

Reid led the Blues with a career-high 24 points, while adding seven boards, five assists and three steals in Toronto’s 86-74 victory over Laurier on Friday night.

The urban studies/human geography major matched that career-high on Saturday, tallying a double-double of 24 points, 12 rebounds and adding one assist in the Blues 81-70 win over Waterloo. His 12 rebounds also matched his career-high total.
