A second-year life science major from Ottawa, Alina Dormann recorded a game-high 15 points in leading the Varsity Blues women's volleyball team to a dominant 3-0 (25-14, 25-9, 25-10) victory over the Waterloo Warriors in OUA quarter-final action on Saturday afternoon.
 
The 6-foot-1 right side hitter led all players with nine kills and five aces, while adding one block and nine digs in Toronto's win.
 
Dormann, who led the OUA in kills (4.39) and points (5.3) per set during the regular season, and the Blues are now set to host the 2017 OUA Final Four, March 10-11, at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.
 
The Blues will take on the Western Mustangs in semi-final action on Friday (March 10) at 6 p.m., with a spot in the OUA gold-medal match and a berth to the U SPORTS national championships on the line.
