Fifth-year forward Devin Johnson totalled 52 points and 13 boards in leading the Varsity Blues to two big wins in OUA men’s basketball action this past weekend.
 
The political science major from Ajax led all players with 29 points, while adding seven rebounds, two assists and one steal in a thrilling 85-77 victory over the U of T’s division rival Queen’s Gaels on Saturday night.
 
Johnson also tallied a game-high 23 points, five boards, three assists and one steal in the Blues dominant 79-58 victory over York in a School Day game on Friday afternoon.
 
Johnson currently ranks second in the province, averaging 21.5 points per contest, and sits only one point shy of becoming the third Varsity Blue in program history to reach 1,200 career points.
