Jen Held scored eight goals and had 10 assists as the Varsity Blues women’s lacrosse team completed a perfect weekend, going 3-0 at Varsity Centre, Sept. 26-27.
 
Held, who is now ranked second in the OUA with 28 points, dominated in the Blues come-from-behind victory against rivals Queen’s Gaels on Sunday.  The Brampton, Ont. native led all players with four goals and two assists in the 14-12 victory, including two goals late in the second half to help the Blues complete the comeback attempt.
 
An eighth-year medical student, Held opened up the weekend with one goal and five assists in Toronto’s 19-8 victory over the McMaster Marauders and went on to tally three goals and three assists as the Blues handily defeated the Guelph Gryphons 19-5.
 
With the three wins, the Varsity Blues remain undefeated in 2009 and sit atop the OUA standings with a perfect 5-0-0 record.
