Fourth-year pitcher Colin Edwards pitched a five-inning complete game as the Varsity Blues baseball team topped the Ryerson Rams, 16-1, in their season opener on Saturday afternoon.
 
Edwards, a journalism major from Scarborough, Ont., struck out three, without allowing an earned run in the victory.
 
The Blues went 2-2 on opening weekend, sweeping the Rams 4-1, 16-1, before falling to the Lions 9-7, 6-3.
