A first-year kinesiology major from Toronto, Rachel Honderich swept the podium, winning the women’s singles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles gold medals at the 2016 Yonex Canadian national college-university championships this past weekend in Quebec City.

Honderich went 4-0 in women’s singles action, winning her first three matches in straight games, before topping teammate Brittney Tam 21-8, 20-22, 21-17 in the finale.

She and Tam went onto claim the women’s doubles title, going 3-0 and winning all matches in straight sets.

Honderich, a two-time medalist at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, also teamed up with Andrew Wilkinson to claim the mixed doubles gold medal. The duo were also dominant, winning all four matches, 2-0, to claim the top spot. Â
