Fourth-year forward Devin Johnson recorded 58 points and 20 rebounds in helping the Varsity Blues men’s basketball team to a 1-1 record this week.

A political science major from Ajax, Ont., Johnson notched a team-high 26 points and completed the double-double with 10 rebounds while also recording three steals and one assist in Toronto’s 91-65 victory over the Waterloo Warriors on Wednesday night.

Johnson followed that up with a career-high 32 points, 10 boards one block and one steal as the Blues fell to the No. 8 nationally ranked McMaster Marauders Saturday night in Hamilton.

Johnson currently ranks second in the OUA with 26.3 points and third with 9.0 rebounds per game.
