Second-year University of Toronto Varsity Blues mountain biker Peter Wen won a silver medal at the second University Cup Race this past weekend (Sept. 19-20) at Mansfield Outdoor Centre.

Wen placed second in the men’s sport division, finishing with a time of 1:02.07. A mechanical engineering student from Scarborough, Ont., Wen edged out Queen’s Gaels ride Michael Fader (1:02.14) for the silver medal finish.
