Third-year setter Madelyn Mandryk tallied 35 assists and nine digs in leading the No. 3 nationally ranked University of Toronto Varsity Blues women’s volleyball team to a 3-0 quarter-final victory over the Queen’s Gaels on Saturday afternoon.
 
Mandryk, who ended the regular season atop the CIS with 10.19 assists per set, controlled Toronto’s attack seamlessly on Saturday. She averaged 11.67 assists and 3.00 digs per set as earned player of the game honours for her efforts.
 
Mandryk helped U of T advance to their fourth consecutive OUA Final Four.
