Fourth-year netminder Brett Willows combined for 67 saves in leading the University of Toronto Varsity Blues to two big wins this past week in OUA men’s hockey action.

The Rivers, Manitoba native stunned the 3,600 children with 34 saves during Toronto’s 3-2 win over Ryerson in their annual Downtown Showdown Hockey School Day game on Tuesday. Willows came up with a slew of beautiful saves in the last minutes of the game to preserve the win.

A fourth-year kinesiology student, Willows follow that up with a 33-save performance in Kingston as the Blues defeated the RMC Paladins 6-3.
