Third-year setter Madelyn Mandryk totalled 59 assists and 13 digs in helping the undefeated and No. 4 nationally ranked University of Toronto Varsity Blues women’s volleyball team to two shut out victories on the road (Jan. 16-17).
Mandryk, who studies biodiversity and conservation biology, tallied 28 assists, nine digs and four kills as Toronto defeated Western 3-0 (25-21, 25-17, 25-13) on Friday night in London, Ont.
The Lockport, Man., native then recorded 31 assists, four digs, two kills and one block in U of T’s dominant 3-0 (25-15, 25-14, 25-6) victory over Windsor on Saturday.
Mandryk leads the CIS with 10.59 assists per set over 13 matches this season.Â
