Second-year goaltender Michael Nishi made 27 saves and earned his first career shutout in leading the University of Toronto Varsity Blues men’s hockey team to a 4-0 victory over the Brock Badgers on Sunday afternoon (Jan. 4).

Nishi turned aside 11 shots in the third period to maintain the shutout. The Toronto native now ranks ninth in the province and leads the Blues with a .914 save percentage in 11 starts.
