Down 29 points after Thursday night, the 2014 OUA male swimmer of the year won his fifth career title in the 200 butterfly, while also earning bronze in the 400 freestyle and anchoring the 800 freestyle relay team to a third-place finish. The gave the Blues a 68-point cushion over the UBC Thunderbirds heading into the final day of competition.

The fifth-year economics and political science major didn’t stop there. Chetrat swam to another podium finish in the men’s 1500 freestyle, earning bronze on Day 3. He also placed second overall in the 100 butterfly on Day 1.
