Second-year swimmer Vanessa Treasure earned three gold medals in meet-record time as the Varsity Blues defeated the OUA defending champion Western Mustangs in dual-meet action on Saturday afternoon.
 
Treasure bettered her own record in all three events in leading the Blues to a 92-70 win over the three-time provincial champions.
 
The Mississauga, Ont., native dominated all competition in the 200 breast stroke, finishing eight seconds ahead of the field in 2:31.98 to shatter last year’s record of 2:36.49.  
 
Treasure did the exact same in the 100 breast stroke and 200 IM events, winning both races by two seconds and bettering her previous records by at least three seconds.
