Dave Hunt is a U of T graduate and a national team coach. As a varsity hurdler, his strong interest in the mechanics of track and training methods led him naturally to coaching in 1985. Since then, he has coached every level of our program, progressing from teaching in our track school to now successfully developing many of Canada's top junior and senior sprinters and hurdlers. Since 1994, more than 10 athletes from his program have represented Canada internationally. In 1999, Hunt was a hurdles and relay coach at the Pan Am games in Winnipeg and served as the sprints and hurdles coach for the 2001 FISU Games in Beijing.
