"I chose the University of Toronto for its exceptional academic reputation and diverse culture," said Musiyiwa. "Looking forward, I'm excited to dive into university life, meet new people, and start the field hockey season!"

An accomplished international player, Musiyiwa has represented Zimbabwe on multiple stages, captaining the U16 national team against Namibia and later leading the U18 squad in the Zimbabwe-Namibia-Zambia series in 2024. She also represented Zimbabwe at the U18 level in 2023 in Namibia and gained valuable experience at the U21 Junior World Cup qualifiers. In addition, she competed in Cape Town at the PSI tournament, where she captained the PSI Flames indoor hockey team.

Beyond her international success, Musiyiwa earned first-team selection in both hockey and tennis and earned her school’s Coach’s Most Valuable Player of the Year award in hockey.
