HANLAN BOAT CLUB
The University of Toronto rowing team stores all their equipment and launches out of the
Hanlan Boat Club. Protected from the South by Tommy Thompson Park, the University of Toronto rowing team trains on Lake Ontario with access to a 2km shipping channel, the Toronto Islands and potential endless water for training.
Directions to Hanlan Boat Club
From Lakeshore Boulevard East -- go east on Lakeshore Boulevard and veer right onto Cherry Street South. Near the end of Cherry Street, turn left onto Unwin Avenue. Follow Unwin Avenue to Regatta Road. Turn right onto Regatta Road and then left into Hanlan Boat Club parking lot.
From the Bayview Extension -- follow Bayview Avenue south and around right turn onto Front Street. Follow Front Street to the first stop sign which will be Cherry Street. Turn left onto Cherry Street and follow down across Lakeshore Boulevard. Stay right and continue on Cherry Street. Turn left at end of street onto Unwin Avenue. Follow Unwin Avenue to Regatta Road. Turn right onto Regatta Road and left into Hanlan Boat Club parking lot.
From the Don Valley Parkway -- Take the Don Valley Parkway South to Bayview/Bloor exit. Follow Bayview Avenue South. Continue on using Bayview Extension directions from above.
