Notes:
The Clarkson Golden Knights (2008-09 record: 8-10-4)
Guided by seventh-year head coach George Roll, the Knights will look to return to the form they displayed in 2006-07 and 2007-08 when they were one of the top teams in American college hockey, claiming consecutive ECAC hockey titles and making back-to-back NCAA tournament appearances before falling in the first round of the ECAC Hockey playoffs last season.
St. Lawrence Saints (2008-09 record: 11-7-4)
Joe Marsh has been the head coach at St. Lawrence since 1985. In 2007, he won his 400th Division I game placing him in sixth-place among active NCAA Division I coaches in career wins. The Saints also posted impressive results last season, including a 4-1 victory over the nationally ranked New Hampshire Wildcats.
