Warren Anderson helped the Varsity Blues men’s hockey team to four provincial and four national titles during his intercollegiate career at the University of Toronto. After claiming his first two titles in his rookie season (1971-72), Anderson led the team to back-to-back OUAA and CIAU titles in 1972-73 and was named both an OUAA all-star and CIAU all-Canadian for his efforts. In 1973-74, he was the team captain, won the Dr. William A. Dafoe Trophy as the team’s most valuable player and garnered his second provincial all-star nod.

The Blues bounced back to claim the 1974-75 OUAA and CIAU crowns and Anderson received his third consecutive all-star nod that season. After a one-year hiatus, he rejoined the team to win his fourth provincial and national banners in 1976-77.

His success did not stop there. Anderson was a member of the Canadian national team that placed sixth at the 1980 Olympic Games in Lake Placid, New York, and fourth at the 1984 Olympics in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia.
