Robin Campbell knows U of T sports.  A decorated athlete during his years on the Blues swim team, he went on to coach for the Blues before moving into his role as a senior administrator at U of T.
 
Robin was a member of the 1964 Canadian record-breaking 4x100yd freestyle relay team. He was also a member of three CIAU championship teams (1966-68) and set a CIAU record, earning gold in the 200yd freestyle at the 1968 Championships.
 
Immediately following graduation, Robin assumed head coaching duties for the Varsity Blues swim team. During his 10-year tenure with the team, the Blues earned 10 OUAA, six CIAU titles and was named coach of the year in 1972. Robin also coached swimmers in international competition at the 1970 World Student Games in Torino. He was also the men’s head coach at the 1979 Pan Pacific swimming championships, and the manager of Canada’s 1973 and 1977 World Student Games teams as well as the 1980 Canadian Olympic swim team.  From 1979-82, Robin was the director of Swim Canada’s Sport Science Centre at U of T. He returned to general manager duties for Canada at the World Aquatic Games in Guayaquil in 1982.
 
Currently the executive director of advancement and alumni affairs at the Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education, Robin has been an executive member of the T-Holders’ alumni association, PHE alumni association and PHE campaign advisory board.
