Excelling in both Football and Hockey, Bob Henry represented U of T for four years with the Senior Hockey team and three years with Senior Football. He received seven First Colours and was the recipient of a Bronze T in 1947, receiving the Bronze Bar in 1949. Bob was a member of the 1947 and 1948 Hockey championship teams, and tied for first in league scoring in 1948.
Bob was also a leader on and off the ice and field, dedicated to serving sport by sitting on the Men’s Athletic Directorate for two years and being President of the Hockey Club. He was the co-winner (with 1995 Hall of Fame Inductee, Don Bark) of the Biggs Trophy in 1948. Bob played hockey with the R.C.A.F. Hurricanes during World War II.
