University of Toronto Athletics

Kay Boyd (Intramural Secretary, 1936-75) and Phyllis Lea (Intercollegiate Secretary, 1938-75) are being honoured in recognition of their many years of service to student-athletes at the University of Toronto. They were staff members of the U of T (men's) Athletic Association for four decades, from the 1930s until their retirement in 1975. In 1973, they were the first female recipients of the UTAA's Loudon Award, in recognition of their outstanding contribution to university athletics.
