Mike Eben was the outstanding pass receiver in Canada from 1964-67. In 1965 he won the first Hec Crighton Trophy as the Outstanding Player of the Year and also scored the winning touchdown in the first Vanier Cup game. He later played 10 years in the Canadian Football League with the Toronto Argonauts and Edmonton Eskimos. He was also active in Basketball, playing one season with the Varsity Blues and several years in intramural competition. He has pursued careers in teaching and coaching at York University and Upper Canada College.
